• All episodes of Heroes and La Femme Nikita are subtitled, as are selected showings of Angel and Star Trek.
• Audio Description is currently available on selected episodes of Angel, and all episodes of The Outer Limits are signed.

SUBTITLES
Press the Services button on your Sky remote
Select System Setup
Select Language & Subtitles
Turn Subtitles on
Save the new settings

AUDIO DESCRIPTION
Press the Services button on your Sky remote
Select System Setup
Select Language & Subtitles
Select Favourite Language/Audio
Scroll left or right until you find the Narrative option
Save the new settings
Signed programming is currently available on SCI FI with selected showings of The Outer Limits.

SUBTITLES
On your TV remote (not your Telewest remote), simply press your equivalent to the TEXT button and enter 888.

AUDIO DESCRIPTION
Customer will need to amend their settings in order to hear the audio description on the new channels. To make the amendment customers will need to:

Navigate to Settings and Services -> Display & Audio -> Enable Audio Description [On]

SUBTITLES - ANALOGUE
On your TV remote (not your ntl remote), simply press your equivalent to the TEXT button and enter 888.

SUBTITLES - DIGITAL
You can access your ntl digital subtitles in two different ways, depending on the colour of the Electronic Programme Guide (EPG).

Blue
Press the GUIDE button on your ntl remote.
Move the highlight to the SETTINGS icon and select.
From the Settings screen select option 2, Visual settings.
Turn subtitles on.
You also have 'fast access' to them via the Mini guide screen:
Press the TV button to display the Mini guide.
If the programme supports subtitles, the green coloured button will say "Turn subtitles on".
Press the green button and the subtitles will be turned on.

Purple
Press the GUIDE button on your ntl remote.
Highlight option 5, and select Settings.
Choose option 5 for Further Settings.
Turn subtitles on.
ntl sign language

Signed programming is currently broadcast on ntl.

ntl is in the process of upgrading various technical features which will enable the use of audio description to ntl customers.
