SCI FI are delighted to be the only channel in the UK showing the fifth season of this fantastic supernatural drama based on a Stephen King story, and starring Anthony Michael Hall.

When small-town teacher Johnny Smith (Hall) awakens from a six year coma, there's a few surprises in store. Firstly, his lovely girlfriend (Nicole DeBoer) is now married to another man, who is raising Johnny's son as his own. Ouch. Secondly, he has developed bizarre psychic powers: every time he touches a person or object, he's liable to get a flash of their past or even future. Thirdly, his clothes are terribly out of date.

With such an extraordinary new ability, inevitably this humble teacher becomes something of a hero as he struggles to prevent some of the horrors that the future holds. The greatest horror of all, however, might be beyond even Johnny's gifts. Congressional candidate and Grade 'A' slimeball Greg Stillson looks like he's going right to the top, but if he does so, we could all be doomed - we're talking proper, full-on apocalypse.
