Joe Wylee (Giles Panton)

Police Detective Joe Wylee is Dale Arden's fiancé.  Ambitious and driven, like Dale, Joe has political ambitions for his future, and powerful family connections that can help make it happen.  When strange events start happening, Joe and Dale often find themselves investigating the same cases... it's just that Dale knows a whole lot more than she's able to share.  It becomes harder and harder for Joe to ignore the feeling that Dale is keeping secrets from him -- and that those secrets have something to do with Flash Gordon.

Giles Panton was born and raised in Vancouver, and honed his craft with extensive acting studies in Vancouver and New York.  Panton played a recurring role on the CBC series Intelligence.  He had lead roles in the independent features Malefaction and appeared in Shock To The System, another independent film.  Panton's work includes numerous short films including, Class Savage, Hostile, Bedridden, 11:11, Mountain View County, Enough For Two, Drive The Bus and Solace.

Nick Glimore (Panou)

Nick is Flash's partner in G&G Custom Carcraft, rebuilding and restoring classic cars.  The two have been buddies for years, but now that Flash has this big secret that Nick's not in on, he can sense that they're growing apart.  Nick's instinct is to blame the change on Dale, who came back into Flash's life at the same time the rest of the craziness started.  A devoted wingman, Nick thinks what Flash needs is to get back in the game.

Leading man and versatile character actor Panou (his unique one-word birth-name translates to "God Among Us" in his native Creole) has been featured in such films as Steal This Movie, the independent feature Fizzy Business (written/directed/produced by Carl Goldstein) and The Invisible.

He has also had a number of memorable roles in many television series including SCI FI's Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, Fox Family Channel's I Was A Sixth Grade Alien and the Showtime's Stanley Tookie Williams: A Question of Justice, directed by Ernest R. Dickerson. Panou was born in the Caribbean and came to Canada at the age of 5. By the age of 7, he already knew that he wanted to be an actor and actively pursued his dream by booking roles in theatre, even at that young age. Panou began his professional film-acting career with a role in the feature film Papertrail.

Jody Racicot (Hans Zarkov)

The brilliant but quirky scientist, Hans Zarkov, worked with Flash's father, Dr. Gordon, on the mysterious Portage Initiative.  Since seeing Dr. Gordon disappear through the rift to Mongo, Zarkov has been hard at work in his secluded laboratory, obsessed with finding out all he can about the phenomenon that claimed his beloved mentor and colleague.

Jody Racicot has been honing his craft for twenty years.  Classically trained at George Brown Theatre School (Toronto), he began his career on stage appearing in over 30 theatre productions before landing his first film role as 'Pigman' in the 1993 comedy PCU.   Since then, this chameleon-like character actor has been playing off-the-wall characters in dozens of films and TV shows including memorable performances in: The Lizzie McGuire Movie, The Tuxedo, The X-Files (series) and Stark Raving Mad.

Racicot was nominated for a Leo Award (Canada) as Best Actor in a Guest Starring Role for his work on the SCI FI Channel series Stargate-SG1. Jody moved to coastal British Columbia in 2002 to take advantage of the extraordinary recreational opportunities and healthy lifestyle. An avid golfer, skier and hiker, he is also a passionate woodworker. It is not unusual to find him harvesting storm fallen timber or beachcombing for interesting driftwood.  On a sunny day you might also spot him out on the ocean in his hand-built wooden sea kayak.

Anna Van Hooft (Aura)

Aura, the beautiful and willful daughter of Ming, is often underestimated, even by her father.  Always striving to earn her father's respect, even when she doesn't agree with him, Aura understands politics well and knows how to manipulate most situations to her benefit.  Her fascination with Flash and her rivalry with Dale make her at times a useful ally and at other times a formidable opponent.

Anna Van Hooft was recently seen in Neil Labute's feature Wicker Man, and was featured in the high school comedy John Tucker Must Die.

Her small screen credits include the television movies Hollywood Wives and Twelve Mile Road.  Van Hooft also co-starred in the Nickelodeon series Caitlin's Way.

Jonathan Lloyd Walker (Rankol)

Rankol, Ming's Chief Scientist, conceals many secrets. His body twisted and deformed by the toxic Grey Water of Mongo, Rankol should have been exiled to the Banelands with the rest of the mutant Deviates. But his brilliant mind gave him a way out, taking him to the highest corridors of power, which he navigates with the aid of a hovering transport device he designed himself.

Jonathan Lloyd Walker's recent credits include Paramount's feature film Shooter co-starring Mark Walhberg, ABC's comedy series Men In Trees with Anne Heche, and the SCI FI Channel series Stargate SG1.

Walker was born and raised in Henley-on-Thames, England. He began acting as a toddler appearing in British television commercials. Later he performed in various school musicals, many of which were choreographed by the mother of his schoolmate Christian Bale (Batman Begins). His family moved to Canada when he was a teenager and he continued acting in both school plays and with the Children's Theatre Company in Montreal.

After completing University, as well as service as an officer in the Canadian Infantry, Jonathan resumed his passion for acting and began his professional career in Vancouver. His early work included the roles in the television movie Volcano: Fire on the Mountain, the series Viper, and multiple appearances on the iconic series The X-Files. As his career progressed he continued to play diverse and complex roles like 'Mark Twain' in The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne and 'Jesus Christ' in The Second Coming.

John Ralston (Ming)

Ming sees himself as the Benevolent Father to the people of Mongo.  Without his precious Source Water, the only drinkable water on a planet whose environment has turned toxic, they'd all be dead.  As long as they obey him, they live.  A brilliant strategist, Ming knows just how to use scarce resources and tribal superstitions to keep his enemies at each other's throats -- and away from his.  Now that he's obtained the key to trans-dimensional travel, he has his eye on the Earth, and how it can serve him.

John Ralston is a native of Chatham, New Brunswick and was raised in Fredericton and St. Andrew's By-The-Sea. Shortly after he received a degree in English and Anthropology, he pursued a diploma in Jazz Studies at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia. His acting career began during this time and he was soon touring Canada, the United States and Mexico as a member of The Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia. After a number of years of performing in Canada's major regional theatres, Ralston joined the Advanced Actors' Workshop in Banff, Alberta for four seasons.  Ralston performed in George F. Walker's award-winning Suburban Motel series, playing the pornographer 'Michael' in Featuring Loretta and Risk Everything. Ralston's selected screen credits include lead or supporting roles in the feature films South of the Moon, Irish Eyes Are Crying, Hurt, Khaled, Exit Wounds and Turn It Up. His television credits include series lead roles in Life With Derek and The City.

Ralston has played both lead and supporting roles in the television movies, Voices, Demons From Her Past, Kaw, Earthstorm, Trackdown, North of 60, No Night Too Long, Beauty and Power (in which he played Frank Sinatra opposite Natasha Henstridge), Her Best Friend's Husband, Sanctuary, True Romance and Vanished Without a Trace. He has made guest starring appearances on the series Angela's Eyes, This is Wonderland, The Jane Show, The 11th Hour, Mutant X, Blue Murder, Adventure Inc., Jeremiah, Queer as Folk, Doc and Earth Final Conflict.  John currently resides in Toronto.

Gina Holden (Dale Arden)

Dale Arden was Flash's high school sweetheart, until she left for college while he stayed home.  Dale now works as a reporter for the hometown television station.  Although she is now engaged, there is still an undeniable chemistry between Dale and Flash.  Always hard-working and driven, Dale juggles her professional responsibilities and her Mongo adventures with Flash, all the while struggling to keep the truth from her fiancé.

In the past five years Gina Holden has been swept up in a wave of work and recognition.  She has become a familiar face on the small screen, having portrayed 'Haley Collins' in CW's Supernatural and 'Coreen Fennel' on Lifetime's Blood Ties. Holden played the ruthless 'Rachel' on the Fox series Reunion and has made guest starring appearances on the series Psych and The L Word.

For the big screen, Holden's credits include supporting roles in New Line Cinema's Final Destination 3 and Butterfly Effect 2.  She will soon be seen in the 20th Century Fox feature Alien vs. Predator 2 and the Lion's Gate release, The Christmas Cottage. Holden worked opposite Ben Affleck and Gina Gershon in Man About Town and appeared in the superhero blockbuster The Fantastic Four.

Gina was born in the small mountain town of Smithers, British Columbia, where her first performance took place at a figure skating exhibition at the age of 5. At 15, she was scouted by a modeling agency and invited to work in Japan. Embracing the move, Gina became the face of Shiseido cosmetics and appeared on upwards of twenty magazine covers. Although her talent and drive brought her success in the world of modeling, it was ultimately a stepping-stone for her acting career.  A small movie role inspired Gina to take acting classes and it was in this medium that she found her true passion.

Karen Cliche (Baylin)

Baylin was Ming's most valuable bounty hunter. Cast out at an early age from her tribe, the Verden, Baylin learned to survive on her own... she had to. Fiercely independent, with a strong personal code of honor, she is a force to be reckoned with. As dangerous as she is beautiful, Baylin joins Flash and Dale on Earth as they battle the evil forces of Mongo.

Karen Cliche has had leading roles on several television series including Mutant X, Young Blades, Adventure Inc., Galidor, Vampire High, The Business and MTV's Undressed. She has made guest appearances on the SCI FI Channel series The Dresden Files, 'Til Death Do Us Part, Big Wolf On Campus and Aaron Spelling's All Souls.

Cliche has starred in the feature films, Summer, Riders, and the Lifetime movies Flirting With Danger and I Do (But I Don't).

Eric Johnson (Flash Gordon)

Eric Johnson stars in the title role of SCI FI Channel's newest original action-adventure series, Flash Gordon - a modern day retelling of the classic comic strip franchise.

Steven "Flash" Gordon used to be just an average, all-American guy.  That is, until he fell through an interdimensional rift in space and found himself on the planet Mongo.  Suddenly plunged into life-and-death interplanetary adventures, Flash is shocked to discover that his father, who mysteriously disappeared years ago, may still be alive and in the hands of Ming, the evil ruler of Mongo.  From local track star to defender of the universe, Flash finds himself running his most important race yet... a race against time to save his father and Earth from Ming's diabolical agenda.

Johnson is most recognized for his role as 'Whitney Fordman' on Smallville, a character he portrayed for three years (2001-2004). His career began over a decade ago, when he landed the role of 'teen Tristan,' the younger counterpart to Brad Pitt in the film Legends Of The Fall.  Prior to and following Smallville, Eric has enjoyed a successful career in both the US and his native Canada working on a number of films and television shows, including Texas Rangers, Question Of Privilege, Stealing Sinatra and Bang Bang You're Dead. Most recently, Johnson made guest appearances on several television series, including Criminal Minds, The Dead Zone, Ghost Whisperer and The Unit.

At the age of 9, to further his desire to be the center of attention, Johnson enrolled in theater school, a far more appropriate venue for his little performances than the hockey arena or dinner table.  Eric's passion for an audience was undeniable and he soon began performing in professional theater as well as landing film and television roles.  It was after appearing in the epic Western drama Legends Of The Fall that he realized film and television was the best way to act out his imagination without people looking at him funny.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Eric and his wife, Adria Budd Johnson, are involved in the social-eco change organization The Hollywood Hill.

Episode 22: Revolution Part Two

The Deviate army masses outside the Citadel and Terek (Craig Stanghetta) sends a message to Ming (John Ralston) demanding his surrender. Aura (Anna Van Hooft) finds herself torn and pleads with Terek not to kill their father, but Terek is resolute and Rankol (Jonathan Walker), who has joined with the Deviates, reinforces the need to strike now, while most of Ming's forces are still in Frigia.  Azura (Jody Thompson) enters the fray, bringing her warriors to defend Ming in return for becoming his Queen.  Ming refuses to surrender and Terek orders the attack.

Episode 21: Revolution Part One

Queen Fria (Kendall Cross) has begun trading ice with the Cantons, so Ming (John Ralston) sends troops to Frigia to take possession of the ice fields.  Ming consults the Celetrophs only to discover that Rankol (Jonathan Walker) is one of them, and for this deception he orders Rankol's execution.

Episode 20: A Cold Day in Hell

Rebellion brews now that the people of Mongo know that it was Ming (John Ralston) and not the Deviates who poisoned their water. Flash entreats the Celetroph Dolan (Nicolas W. Von Zill) to help him unite the cantons against Ming, but the Dolan insists that first, Flash must pass one final test.  Flash awakens in the desolate snowfields of Frigia where he meets Brini (Holly Dignard), a Triton hunter and both are arrested by a Frigian patrol for ice poaching. Count Malo (Daniel Probert), the regent who reigns in her place, reveals that Queen Fria (Kendall Cross) has been trapped for many cycles in the Cave of the Ice Worm and Flash realizes that freeing the Queen is the test he must pass

Episode 19: Blame

The water that Terek (Craig Stanghetta) provides to the Cantons proves to be contaminated and has already claimed countless victims.& nbsp; Flash (Eric Johnson) arrives at the Deviate settlement to warn Terek just as a group of angry Turin attack.  Flash takes responsibility for distributing the water, but the Turin are bent on revenge.  Flash convinces them to allow him to search for an antidote, but they force him to drink the tainted water before departing as an incentive to succeed.

Episode 18: Ebb and Flow

Using the stolen IMEX, Rankol (Jonathan Walker) and Lenu (Sonya Salomaa) have found a way to solve Mongo's water problem. The Sentinel alerts Zarkov (Jody Racicot) to an enormous rift forming at Lake Kendal and he, Flash (Eric Johnson), Dale (Gina Holden), Baylin (Karen Cliché) and Joe (Giles Panton) arrive to witness the lake being completely drained.  Zarkov realizes that this feat can only have been accomplished using the IMEX and that it may well be repeated.  Flash and his companions head to Mongo with the intention of blowing up the rift generator to prevent the further theft of Earth's water.

Episode 17: Thicker than Water

A courier is whisking a Deviate infant from the Citadel when he's shot dead, moments after passing the child to Flash (Eric Johnson) who, with Baylin (Karen Cliche) and Zarkov (Jody Racicot), has just arrived on Mongo in search of the reconfigured rift blaster.  At the Steephouse, Larik (Bob Frazer) explains that all Deviate infants are in danger of being destroyed according to "the Code," and introduces them to Saire (Meghan Ory) who is helping to rescue the threatened children and transport them to the Banelands.

Episode 16: Posession

Joe (Giles Panton) steals the recalibrated rift blaster from Zarkov's lab and heads to Mongo to secure photographic evidence of the planet's existence so as to prove he's not crazy. Flash (Eric Johnson), Dale (Gina Holden), Baylin (Karen Cliche) and Zarkov (Jody Racicot) give pursuit and must retrieve the rift blaster before Rankol (Jonathan Walker) gets his hands on it and discovers that they've found a way of opening their own rifts.

Episode 15: Stand and Deliver

Barin's (Steve Bacic) attempt on Ming's life coupled with the Celetroph prophecy predicting Barin's ascendancy has propelled Ming's (John Ralston ) destruction of the Verden cloister and the subsequent enrollment of all Verden as captive labor. Fugitives are being rounded up by bounty hunters and sold as slaves, and at the ruined cloister,  Flash (Eric Johnson), Dale (Gina Holden) and Baylin (Karen Cliche) must defend themselves from bounty hunters who have set a trap, using Nokwen (Spencer Maybee), a Verden fugitive as bait.

Episode 14: The Sorrow

Baylin (Karen Cliche) is called by ancestral spirits to join the Verden delegation at the Caves of Sorrow on Mongo to celebrate Honor Day.  Honor Day commemorates the lives lost during the environmental disaster known as The Sorrow.  Flash (Eric Johnson) and Dale (Gina Holden) offer to help Baylin as she prepares a stockpile of Earth goodies as tribute to those who passed.

Episode 13: Secrets and Lies

Using the scientific codes 'borrowed' from Rankol, Zarkov (Jody Racicot) is able to start unlocking the secrets of the IMEX, and in doing so, reconfigures rift blasters to find and open natural rifts--which means they no longer need the Mongo-based rift generator to travel back and forth.  In front of a new rift and explaining his breakthrough, Flash (Eric Johnson) and Zarkov are forced to take an inadvertent trip to Mongo.  Our heroes quickly find themselves in the middle of an impending war between the Zurns, a tribe led by the witch queen Azura (Jody Thompson), and the Dactyls, led by Vultan (Ty Olsson).
